Magnolia Marketing Project

   Magnolia Market was looking for insight into the power of their brand’s longevity were it to be independent of the very popular show Fixer Upper.  With Magnolia, we established a framework to begin answering their marketing questions. The team conducted data-dense interviews with customers visiting the market.  Questions ranged from how much visitors intend to spend on merchandise, to how disappointed they were that Chip and Johanna were not there.  This gave us incredible data to work with but also overload the team with its size and complexity. One of the hardest parts of the project was keeping focus on insights into the data that would lend to understanding the brand’s longevity. We had to constantly ask ourselves if our analysis got us closer to understanding the loyalty of various Magnolia customer personas. Once the team and client were satisfied with the data analysis, we translated the data into a written and verbal executive presentation. We wanted our findings to be easy to understand but more importantly easy to make business decisions from. We presented our findings to the executive board allowing the client to make data-backed decisions for the future of their brand.
